- Marseille’s Remedy Thieves’ Balm is made primarily with organic ingredients. Organic content is indicated on the labeling.
- Our Cannabis extracts are organic, fair trade, and locally produced.
- Marseille’s Remedy Cannabis Thieves’ Balm is formulated with extracts from high Cannabinoid yielding strains. Each 25g container contains 1.25g of pure Canadian Cannabis oil. The cannabinoid content will vary so we will post certified analysis of our cannabinoid content with each batch.
Chemical Aspects in our operation:
We have added DMSO into our Marseille’s Remedy Cannabis Thieves’ Balm. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is predominantly used as a topical analgesic, a vehicle for topical application of pharmaceuticals, as an anti-inflammatory, and an antioxidant. Because DMSO increases the rate of absorption of some compounds through organic tissues, including skin, it is used in some transdermal drug delivery systems. It is frequently compounded with antifungal medications, enabling them to penetrate not just skin but also toenails and fingernails.
In our production facility, only white vinegar and pure grain alcohol are used for sterilization/cleaning. Hand wash stations are stocked with organic Castile Soap.
